Luke and I went on our usual walk today (house to mailbox and back) and Luke discovered an amazing stick. This stick kept him entertained for over thirty minutes today! Oh to be young again!

Here is a closer view of Luke greeting fall.

Happy Thursday and happy 2 year anniversary at Starbucks to me and Steve (yes, we both have the exact same hire date!).

Autumn Arrival

Luke, in his big boy clothes (thanks Grandma & Grandpa Barker for the overalls!) greets fall in true big boy fashion.

Now that he's a walking man, he loves to roam about our neighborhood. Watch out Pleasant Valley!

A few weeks ago we took Luke over to "The Culinary" to stretch his legs and run some energy off. Here's Luke enjoying the Culinary grass!

First Husky Game

3,000 miles away and we still have an up and coming Husky fan in our midst! Too bad the dawgs are letting this little husky down.

So, you probably think I forgot about the blog... NEVER! I have been super busy at work lately (don't even ask about the haps at the Mid-Hudson SBUX!).

Here is the latest and greatest of your favorite one year old!

Comment verification

Just a quick housekeeping note: In order to help prevent spam (unwanted comments), I've turned on Blogger's "word verification" feature. What this means to you is that in order to leave a comment, you'll have to go through the extra step of entering a unique word that Blogger gives you (this prevents automated programs from leaving comments, since it requires an actual person to read and enter the word). This shouldn't be a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

First Haircut

Like all good things that must come to an end, so to shall Luke's hair be cut. We don't want anyone thinking that Mr. Big Boy is a girl!
