Moving!

Or as Luke would say, "all done."

With the new baby on the way, it's time for a new Barker family blog. Check it out at http://thebarkerbunch.blogspot.com. We hope to see you there!

Gone Sledding...

Last week we got around 8 or 10 inches of snow, starting late Thursday night and ending around noon on Friday. That sounds like a big mess, but they're really good about plowing/salting/sanding around here, so by Friday afternoon the roads were a-OK. All that snow meant Luke's first sledding trip yesterday, at nearby Mills Mansion. Special thank you to the Mills, whoever they are, for letting us use their yard.

Luke and I only went on five or six runs -- the wind coming off the Hudson River was plenty chilly. The good news is that he's getting good use out of his snowsuit, hat, boots, and mittens.

Luke's First Christmas Tree

When we first put the tree up, he was afraid. Now, he loves taking the ornaments off and adding new ones that he collects around the house!

Luke Gets Snowed In -- And Loves It!

Hi Katie! Your mommy told us you have snow at your house. We have snow here too! Today we went for a walk and Luke played in the snow. He is excited to see you in a few weeks. Here are two pictures of him all dressed up in his snow gear. We'll see you soon! -- Carrie, Jason, and Luke.

An Action Shot

It's hard to believe now, but a mere six weeks ago it was warm enough for Luke to hang out in shorts and a muscle t. Here he is running in the grass at the Culinary on one of our afternoon field trips.

Luke's newest addition to his Elmo collection is an Elmo t-shirt (thanks G&G Barker!). Luke just loves his Elmo shirt.

Luke cut his very first molar yesterday! Today he celebrates with eating big boy oatmeal for breakfast. Bye-bye baby oatmeal, hello Quaker quick one-minute oatmeal!

Happy Wednesday!
